Bits of Flint is a yearly publication in which students are able to express themselves through published pieces. Midland University is excited to announce it is seeking submissions from alumni for Bits of Flint, Future and Past , an online literary journal. Alumni are encouraged to submit short stories, poems, memories, artwork, and creative nonfiction. Please submit new or previously unpublished work. A night of music and celebration is planned as Midland University will be hosting its 140-Year Celebration Concert Gala on May 23 at the Wikert Event Center with HCIS serving as the Headliner Sponsor. I’m actually a transfer student and money was a huge object to me when it came to transferring. And without the donations and the people that gave so that I could receive a scholarship to attend Midland, I probably wouldn’t have been able to."
